Cum adevarul este tot timpul pe la mijloc, mai este un "catch":

In order to get the proper reduction I need to push the distance between the reducer and the camera closer to 95mm.
The center of the Celestron focal reducer is about 11mm from the back edge of the reducer.

Treaba e ca distanta de 85mm e de la centrul optic al reducatorului, nu de la marginea lui. Si se pare ca nimeni nu stie exact unde este acest centru, dar este si el un pic mai in spate.

Parerea mea este ca oricum ai curbura de camp si astigmatism pe colturi cu senzor APS-C. Din poze, zona "optima" pare a fi 90-100mm. Vignetarea se poate compensa prin flat. Ce ziceti ?
